A non-profit organisation dedicated to innovation, digital literacy, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability — rooted in the village of Kozarevetz and reaching across Europe.
Who We Are
Association “3D” is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Kozarevetz, Veliko Tarnovo Province, Bulgaria. We were founded in November 2018 with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap between communities and opportunities — through social inclusion, civic participation, digital tools, and care for the environment.
We operate on both local and national levels, with a growing presence in transnational European cooperation. Our work reaches over 250 direct learners annually, and more than 1,500 people through our platforms and public campaigns.
Since our founding we have successfully completed four funded projects, partnered with local authorities, international organisations, and the America for Bulgaria Foundation — demonstrating consistent capacity, accountability, and real community impact.
What We Stand For
Our People
Our 4 permanent staff members bring together a rare combination of expertise spanning social work, law, ecology, education, accounting, and youth participation. This diversity allows us to manage complex projects with professionalism and care.
In addition to our core team, over 12 dedicated volunteers assist in local eco-campaigns, event logistics, and community outreach — bringing energy, local knowledge, and genuine commitment to every initiative we undertake.
Track Record
A social inclusion project that provided targeted training for people living in institutions, helping them lead independent lives and integrate fully into society. The project actively worked to reduce social isolation, and encouraged the wider community towards greater tolerance, compassion, and understanding.
This project built a digital bridge between local government, business, and citizens through the “Active Citizen” e-platform — enabling residents to participate in local decision-making processes. The result was measurably improved governance and stronger social, economic, and environmental outcomes for the municipality.
Providing fitness and rehabilitation equipment to promote healthy, active lifestyles and bring together people with shared interests in health and sport. The project created new social connections within the community and supported both physical and mental wellbeing through accessible shared resources.
Funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation, this project supplied equipment for public events and traditional celebrations in the village of Kozarevetz. It contributed to strengthening social bonds and encouraged residents to gather, celebrate, and spend time together outdoors — reinforcing local identity and community cohesion.
We have submitted an application under the Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnerships in Youth programme. This section will be activated once the project receives approval — featuring full project details, partner information, activity updates, and downloadable resources.
